YOUR VISION, OUR LEGACY
GRANT 2026
ACT N°1

Founded in 2016 by Chinese-Italian designer Luca Lin, ACT N°1 is shaped by the multicultural roots and personal history of its founder. Considering fashion as a cultural platform, the brand explores the dialogue between different cultures, religions, and worldviews through research, craftsmanship, and social reflection. At the core of ACT N°1 lies an ongoing experimentation with form, construction, and pattern-making, reinterpreting tailoring codes through unexpected volumes, layering, and unconventional cuts. Over time, the brand has developed a distinctive bespoke identity, dressing figures including Beyoncé, Sharon Stone, Lady Gaga, Jared Leto, Lauryn Hill, Lizzo, and Young Miami. In 2025, Luca Lin was selected as a finalist for the International Woolmark Prize and later as a semi-finalist for the LVMH Prize.
Andrea Brocca Altamoda

Founded by Italo-Sri Lankan couturier and artist Andrea Brocca, Andrea Brocca Alta Moda approaches fashion as a platform for artistic and conceptual exploration. Through sculptural silhouettes, architectural constructions, and continuous material and technology research, the brand creates pieces positioned between fashion, art, and contemporary design. Rooted in craftsmanship yet driven by innovation, the maison collaborates with artisans and engineers internationally to develop exceptional products that transcend trends while minimising waste and enhancing client experience. Its multidisciplinary approach draws from sculpture, visual arts, and emerging technologies to investigate new possibilities in design and production. Beyond couture, the brand explores accessories, jewellery, footwear, bags, and design-led objects, extending its creative vision through a contemporary interpretation of luxury defined by structure, movement, form, and experimental craftsmanship.
Des Phemmes

Founded in 2019 by Italian designer Salvo Rizza, DES_PHEMMES is a Milan-based contemporary fashion label exploring the tension between opposites: masculine and feminine, minimal and decorative, effortless and couture-inspired. Rooted in Italian craftsmanship and refined textile research, the brand combines clean silhouettes with intricate hand-crafted details, balancing structure and sensuality. Inspired by art, 90s photography, architecture, and women from the designer’s personal universe, DES_PHEMMES creates collections that merge everyday wearability with an expressive couture sensibility. Tailoring, surface experimentation, and high-fashion references coexist within a timeless and versatile wardrobe designed to feel both sophisticated and emotionally resonant. Through a contemporary vision of femininity, the brand develops pieces that combine refinement with ease. DES_PHEMMES is currently distributed worldwide through more than 80 physical and online retailers.
Domenico Orefice

Founded on a research-driven approach to the body, silhouettes, and the dialogue between tailoring and contemporary sportswear, Domenico Orefice develops an evolving visual language through oversized volumes, modular constructions, and garments that both conceal and reveal the body. Each collection is created through a deeply artisanal process entirely developed in-house, from design and pattern-making to final production, ensuring direct control over quality and craftsmanship. Material experimentation remains central to the brand, which primarily works with stock fabrics and a pre-order production model to encourage a more conscious approach to fashion. Today, the brand’s aesthetic is evolving toward a sharper tailored vision while preserving the functionality, technical details, and attitude rooted in sportswear culture.
Grossi

Grossi is a menswear project exploring the codes of the male wardrobe through textile experimentation, pattern manipulation, and a strong connection to popular visual culture. Classic menswear archetypes are deconstructed and reinterpreted through an imaginary shaped by manga, comics, and Italian counterculture from the 1980s and 1990s, stripping garments of traditional status associations to create figures suspended between everyday life and representation. Traditional fabrics such as wool and herringbone are transformed through treatments inspired by denim, coatings, and leather-effect finishes, generating a tension between tailoring and experimentation. Provocative details, including the laser-cut “PizzEroticus” lace inspired by the erotic drawings of Andrea Pazienza, introduce irony and playfulness. Through recurring characters and symbolic objects, Grossi builds a wardrobe for a man defined by contradiction, transformation, and creative freedom.
Institution

Institution is a creative, social, and ethical project by Galib Gassanof, rooted in cultural memory and community engagement. Blending high fashion with endangered artisanal practices and sustainable production models, the brand works primarily with natural fibres such as silk, cotton, wool, and leather sourced from luxury production remnants. Its signature technique reinterprets traditional carpet weaving through the use of cotton shoelaces, reviving endangered skills linked to Gassanof’s Azerbaijani-Georgian heritage. Developed in collaboration with local women artisans, the project supports both generational knowledge transmission and economic empowerment. Through sculptural silhouettes and a restrained visual language, Institution creates garments that function as cultural, ethical, and emotional artefacts, where simplicity becomes a form of monumentality.
Lutchmiah

Founded in Milan in 2023, LUTCHMIAH exists at the intersection of Indian heritage and European aesthetics, exploring how clothing can reconstruct both collective and deeply personal memories. Rooted in a conscious approach to production, the brand works with carefully selected materials and leftover stock fabrics to minimise waste and extend the lifecycle of existing resources. At the core of the project lies a strong connection with India, where traditional techniques and fabrics are preserved and reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Rather than treating craftsmanship as static preservation, LUTCHMIAH approaches it as an evolving form of expression. Each garment is conceived with intention, restoring clothing as something shaped by meaning, emotional resonance, and cultural dialogue.
Materia

MATERIA is a fashion-functional-inclusive brand redefining the relationship between body, garment, and movement. Designed to adapt and embrace every body and identity, it functions as a system where function becomes language. Inspired by natural processes such as stratification, erosion, and pressure, the brand translates these elements into adaptive garments responding to real conditions and needs. At its core, MATERIA develops intuitive and ergonomic solutions that reduce friction in the act of dressing through accessibility-focused design. Aesthetics and functionality coexist, shaping a new visual and technical standard. Through ongoing research, collaborations, and practical applications, MATERIA evolves as a dynamic platform where innovation, inclusivity, and performance converge within a continuously evolving design system.
Pecoranera
Founded in Milan in 2022, Pecoranera is a contemporary knitwear brand born from the intersection of craftsmanship, technical research, and experimental design. Knitwear is approached as a cultural language capable of combining Italian manufacturing, aesthetic depth, and contemporary sensitivity. Each collection is developed through a meticulous process entirely carried out within the atelier, where research into Italian, sustainable, and often deadstock yarns meets artistic investigation, literary references, and collaborations with creatives from different disciplines. Garments are developed directly on the human body, evolving through continuous transformation and experimentation toward an almost performative dimension. PECORANERA embodies Made in Italy not only as production, but as cultural heritage: a system of knowledge, memory, and vision capable of crossing generations, subcultures, and contemporary and historical languages through an ongoing social dialogue.
Unknown Artisan

Unknown Artisan is a creative project by Lika Kubaneishvili rooted in social responsibility, ethical production, and female empowerment. Built as a women-led initiative, the project places women at the centre of every stage of the process, creating garments made by women, for women. Focusing exclusively on the shirt, Unknown Artisan explores its quiet versatility through deliberate craftsmanship, producing limited-edition pieces designed for different body types using natural, high-quality Italian fabrics. At its core, the project gives visibility to the often unseen women behind the work, bringing together skilled artisans and women in vulnerable situations through a community grounded in care and recognition. Through its collaboration with Spazio3R, Unknown Artisan proposes a vision of fashion rooted in resilience, dignity, and quiet feminine strength.
Untitled Artworks

Founded in Milan in 2022 by Erasmo A. Ciufo, Untitled Artworks is an independent clothing brand blending workwear, street culture, and references to Italian craftsmanship. Defined by oversized volumes, contemporary silhouettes, washed fabrics, distressed finishes, and symbolically charged graphics, the collections reflect an aesthetic deeply rooted in Milan’s urban culture — garments designed to feel lived-in, carrying a sense of history before being worn. The brand has gained international recognition through collaborations with artists including Don Toliver, Rema, Quavo, Joey Badass, Doja Cat, Metro Boomin, Vinicius Jr, and Michael B. Jordan. Each collection explores themes such as memory, transformation, identity, and heritage through limited production and artisanal manufacturing.
