1. What are the minimum eligibility requirements to apply?
Applicants must:
Have been in business for more than two years
Operate as a registered company (not sole traders) with majority ownership held by the applicant designer(s)
Be based in Italy, with at least 80% of production carried out in Italy
Belong to eligible categories (ready-to-wear or accessories)

2. Which product categories are accepted?
Eligible categories are:
Ready-to-wear
Accessories: jewellery, bags and shoes
Bridalwear, swimwear and childrenswear and other categories are not eligible.
3. What kind of mentoring do recipients receive?
Mentoring is tailored to each brand’s needs and may include business strategy, distribution, retail and international development, and brand positioning and communication. Support is delivered through one-to-one sessions and consultations with industry experts.

4. Can brands that are not selected apply again?
Yes. Brands that are not selected may reapply in future editions, up to five times.
5. How and when can brands apply?
Applications are submitted through the official Camera Moda Fashion Trust website during the annual open call. Dates, guidelines and required documentation are published each year on the website and official social channels.

6. I don’t know how to prepare the financial summary and cash flow. What should I do?
Applicants must use the official financial template, available for download HERE.
7. If I worked as a sole trader and opened a company 6 months ago, can I apply?
No. Eligibility is based on the company, not the individual designer.
The company must have been legally registered for more than 24 months at the time of application.

10 .What if I don’t have films of my two most recent collections?
If films are not available, applicants may submit alternative visual materials that clearly present the collections, such as lookbook images, campaign visuals or runway documentation, where available.
11. What happens if a brand is shortlisted but not selected?
Shortlisted brands remain part of the Camera Moda Fashion Trust community and may:

12. When will I know if I am shortlisted as a finalist?
There is no fixed timeline. The advice is to follow the Camera Moda Fashion Trust website and official social channels to keep always informed about the process. Anyway, shortlisted candidates are contacted directly by a member of the board.
